The Story of RGIII Might Be At It’s Lowest Point…

RGIIIRemember RGIII? A Heisman Trophy winner, posterboy for Subway, savior of the Washington Redskins, the guy who has a statue of himself at Baylor, yeah, that guy. This past year he was let go by the CLEVELAND BROWNS! The saddest team in pro sports. Can it get any worse than the Browns moving on from you? Yes, it actually can.

This week the LOS ANGELES Chargers worked RGIII out for the backup quarterback roll to Phillip Rivers. Sources say he actually did very well in his workout, so well that the Chargers decided to sign CARDALE JONES to be Rivers’ backup over RGIII. Remember Cardale Jones? He was the Ohio State quarterback who won a National Championship in 2014 and then was drafted by the Buffalo Bills 139th overall. His years at Buffalo were pretty much non-existant. He managed to throw for a whopping 96 yards on 11 pass attempts. Cardale Jones now sits behind hall of famer Phillip Rivers, trying to pick his brain and maybe make a quarterback out of himself. Maybe Cardale Jones is better than RGIII, maybe the Chargers are seeing something nobody else is seeing. Either way, Jones has a job and RGIII is on the outside looking in.

For Bobby Griffin III, this is sad, just sad. I’m really not sure if he will ever play in the NFL again. You may find him this year at your nearest car dealership slinging KIA’s.

Godspeed.
