The RPM win-loss projections were released by ESPN today. Here are some stone cold LOCKS if you’re a betting man.

1- Sixers OVER 33

I’m not sure how this system works but the Sixers won 28 games last season with Embiid playing 31 games. Adding 2 #1 picks, J.J Redick and possibly 60 games out of Embiid should sure as hell put them way over 5 more wins than last year. LOCK

2- Celtics UNDER 49

I am not a Boston believer. I think they are overrated. Isaiah is overrated and not going to nearly have as good a year as last year. Gordon Hayward is a fake superstar, a very good player but not the superstar Celts fans think they are getting.  If Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown come up big this year, its going to be over 49 but honestly i don’t see those 2 young players having a crucial role this year.

3- Nets UNDER 29

This roster is pathetic, not as pathetic as last year but pretty damn pathetic. They added Deangelo Russell to their lineup and subtracted Brook Lopez. Russell hasen’t lived up the hype he carried coming into the league. Maybe a change of scenery could change that but i have my doubts. A starting lineup of Jeremy Lin, Deangelo Russell, Ronde Hollis-Jefferson, Trevor Booker and Mozgov doesn’t scream 29 wins by any means. Lock it in, UNDER 29

4- Lakers UNDER 33

The hype is definitely there this year. Who knows, maybe Lonzo can make them the second coming of the Showtime Lakers. They will undoubtably struggle this year. Brandon Ingram should improve this year, he played well last year, he still needs to polish every aspect of his game but there was definitely flashes of a great player last year. Brook Lopez adds ZERO defense but he counters that with some above average offensive capability. Their success to me relies on their ability to mesh their young guys games. KCP was a huge acquisition in the offseason adding a 3 and D player, if Kyle Kuzma can play like he did in summer league, that would be huge. They will be an exciting team and must watch when they are on national TV but i see them struggling just enough to finish under 33 wins.

5- Knicks UNDER 32

The New York Knicks are a dumpster fire. The front office is a mess, nobody knows which direction this team is headed, they have a superstar who wants to be traded, a rising star in Porzingis who seems not too happy with the situation. I see this team heading in a complete nosedive to the bottom 2 worst teams in the league. 1st round pick Frank Ntilikina is a nice prospect but is a project that is going to take some time. This is a sure fire LOCK for under 32. Lock it in!
